Daily enrichment limit

Why we implement enrichment limit and how it works

Updated over 2 months ago

Why implement an enrichment limit?

With Trial Hook, we set a daily enrichment limit to protect both you and your early users.

It helps prevent abuse or accidental spamming of your sign-up form. In addition, it keeps your inbox clean and focused by avoiding a flood of notifications.

You can always see your quota and current progress in the top-left corner of the Trial Hook UI:

How do I know when I’ve reached my enrichment limit?

In the Trial Hook UI, you’ll see the progress bar fill up completely. This indicates that you’ve reached your limit:

We will also send you an email once you’ve reached your daily enrichment limit:

What happens if people continue signing up?

Trial Hook will continue accepting and recording sign-ups - nothing will be lost. However, those sign-ups will not be enriched for the rest of the day (until the limit resets).

You will still receive notifications for these sign-ups, but no Person or Business Insights will be generated.

In the Trial Hook UI, contacts who signed up while the limit was enforced will be clearly marked. You will also see an estimate of when you can enrich those sign-ups:

How will I know when my limit is lifted and who signed up while the limit was in force?

Trial Hook will send you an email once the limit resets, listing the contacts who signed up while the limit was in force:

You will also see a list of sign-ups ready to enrich in the Trial Hook UI:

Will Trial Hook automatically enrich sign-ups that weren’t enriched because of the limit?

No. We leave the choice of which sign-ups to enrich up to you. You may want to enrich only specific contacts from the list rather than all of them.
